Mark Tami is a local resident who was born and raised in Brockway, Pennsylvania. He attended the Lock Haven University of PA, majoring in nursing then graduated in May of 2005 with an RN license. Mark practiced nursing for 17 years in acute care, psychiatric care, and geriatric care. He then moved to Lehigh Valley in PA to become a Director of Nursing for a Nursing Home Chain. There he elevated himself to Regional Director of Education and Regional Director of Clinical Care. Mark has over 10 years of experience in the nursing management of geriatric residents.
From there he acquired his Nursing Home Administrator’s license and achieved this professional goal in 2017. Tami has been licensed as an administrator for 5 years now and has managed several different nursing homes in eastern PA, one of which was a 115-bed dementia care facility.” In May 2021, He began working at the DuBois Nursing Home in May 2021 then a few months later Mark was promoted to Administrator of DuBois Nursing Home where he has the opportunity to work closely with staff to reach the common goal which we expect each and every day which is to provide the highest level of quality care to our residents.
Mark chose to move back to his hometown of Brockway to be close to his family and to raise a family of his own. He resides with his wife, and two young children.
