We invite you to bring your favorite belongings to arrange just how you like it. We can help you find a place for everything like your furniture, TV or electronics, photos and artwork.

Here, new neighbors will seem like old friends in no time. You’ll meet new people and spend quality time with those sharing similar interests, life experiences and passions. 

4. ...while still enjoying the privacy of your own.  

Maintain your privacy in your own studio, in your own space, on your own time. Whether you’re an early riser, night owl or anything in between, you can enjoy your own routine.

We help accommodate a couple’s wishes the best we can. Even those with differing care needs can live in the same studio. If care needs begin to elevate to skilled nursing, being part of a continuing care retirement community offers higher care levels if that time arises. DuBois Home Care services, an affiliated company, offers special rates for building to building visits. 

6. Bringing your four-legged family members. 

Some homes are just not complete without snuggling with your furry best friend. We understand the benefits and enjoyment of pet ownership and welcome our four-legged companions. 

7. Hosting your family and friends. 

Invite your friends and family over for special occasions and family celebrations. They can join you for any meal or event. Our Dining Services Director will make sure you receive menus to place your orders. Then, enjoy your special time in our private dining room or outside patio. We’ll always make them feel welcome and at home. 

8. Socializing throughout the day. 

Start your day with coffee and conversation, catch up at an activity and wind down before dining with friends. Everything is just a short walk from your studio. 

9. Continuing your favorite hobbies and discovering new purpose. 

Join a fitness class at the local YMCA or receive rehab from our out-patient therapy group to improve your balance and health, join our garden club and help tend to gardens in our courtyards, volunteer with the DuBois Nursing Home Auxiliary or join the local senior center. You even may surprise yourself by trying a new hobby or activity. You have the choice to make each day your own. 

10. Appreciating home-like living spaces. 

Throughout our common areas, you’ll find comfortable furniture, inviting décor and artwork, easily accessible library of books, natural light and tones, colorful floral arrangements and greens--all stylized by capable and trained staff. (And specially decorated during the holidays!) We want to create a warm, inviting setting you can be proud to call home. 

11. Living beyond your studio. 

Curl up in one of our comfortable sitting areas next to a fireplace or outside on one of the garden benches, read in our cozy book nooks or join friends for games in our activity rooms or gathering room/bistro area — all part of your new home. 

12. Welcoming all the comforts of home (without all the chores.) 

We take out the trash, shovel the snow, cut the grass, fix what’s broken and clean your studio so you can enjoy maintenance-free living. Bring your own car or let our friendly care staff take care of getting you to and from doctor’s appointments. Local public transportation is available for your use for errands and shopping. We can provide you with contact phone numbers for your personal scheduling. We are ready and prepared to offer you what you need when you need it, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We’ll do everything we can to help you feel comfortable, happy and right at home.
