As a Housekeeping / Laundry Aide, you are responsible for providing a sanitary, comfortable, and safe environment for the residents in the facility and providing clean linens in a sanitary and efficient manner. You are responsible to maintain good housekeeping practices, practice good infection control, and help prevent the development and spread of infections.

This position is available to all qualified individuals regardless of age, gender or race. Qualified individuals must be able to perform the following essential duties of the position. Listed below are the general duties and requirements of this position.

General Duties and Responsibilities Include: Perform routine housekeeping services, which includes the cleaning of furniture, equipment, floors, walls, windows, toilets, mirrors, sinks, beds, etc.; perform project cleaning as requested, which includes wheelchairs and stripping and waxing floors; Provide routine laundry services, which includes separating, weighing, washing, drying, folding, and handling soiled linen.
